William David Wilson, 84, passed away on April 21, 2021. He was born January 27, 1937 to Cecil Wilson and Kiva Pittman Wilson. Bill is preceded in death by both parents; son Anthony Lee Wilson; brothers Bob Wilson, Cecil Wilson Jr. and Willard Wilson as well as his sister Barbara Nash. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Anita DeBaun Wilson; son Bill Wilson Jr. (Anita);daughters Tresa Rehmel (Joe) and Cecia Copeland (Jeff).; sister Betty Pullmun; brother-in-law Kenny Nash; grandchildren Eric Wilson, Jarod Wilson (Shawn), Anisha Nichole, Brittany McDonald (Thomas), Luke Copeland (Laraiah), and Alek Copeland (Erin); great-grandchildren Trevor Hawkins, Alexis Freese, Chelsea Carpenter, and Adriana Copeland, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bill was a member of the Farmersburg United Methodist Church, former member of Fairbanks Missionary Baptist Church. Bill worked 40 years as a metal fabricator and retired from General Housewares. He also worked as a farmer, school bus driver, as well as maintenance at Sam’s Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, he also enjoyed mushroom hunting. Visitation for Bill will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Monday, April 26 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with services starting at 1:00 PM. Burial at Pogue Cemetery will follow. Rev.Jeff Blansett will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Farmersburg United Methodist Church.
