Wendell Lowell Peterson, 83, passed away at his home on December 4, 2019. He was born on February 27, 1936 to James M Peterson and Lois E (McGarvey) Peterson. Wendell is preceded in death by his wife Cathy. He is survived by his daughters Yvette Peterson and Gretchen Peterson, as well as his grandson Max, who he thought of as a son. Wendell served in the United States Army before working as an engineer for General Telephone Company. He was a member of the American Legion. He loved golf. Wendell was a big fan of Bobby Knight as well as Peyton Manning. While living in Tennessee he would often watch Peyton play college football. Wendell loved watching wildlife, especially the deer and birds on his property. More than anything he loved his family including his 4 grand puppies. A graveside service will be scheduled for Wendell sometime next spring. The family would like to give a special thanks to The Hospice of the Wabash Valley for care they provided.
