Virginia (Trezise) Snyder

Virginia “Jinny” Snyder (84), of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. She was born in Terre Haute, IN, to Warren Trezise and Lucy (Hickson) Boyd. On August 30, 1963, she married the love of her life, Richard “Butch” Snyder.

She is survived by her sisters, Erma (Chris) Reynolds of Terre Haute and Julie (Nick) Marietta of Brazil; her very special niece, Megan (Nick) Reynolds-Marshall; niece Sarah Hendrickson; nephew Nicholas Marietta and his fiancée, Leslie; nieces Cheryl Shahady; Stephanie (Mike) Cameron; nephew John Trezise; and niece Trudy (Jimmy) Anderson. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews. The light of Jinny’s life was her great-nephew, Chase Marshall. Jinny was blessed with many wonderful friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her father, Warren Trezise; her mother, Lucy Boyd; her step-mother, Bonnie Trezise; her step-father, Harmon Boyd; and her brother, John Trezise.

Jinny graduated from Wiley High School. She was formerly employed by Eastern Express before moving to south Florida. She and Richard later returned to Terre Haute in 1997. She was a former member of the Sycamore Country Club.
