Virginia Rose Caton

Virginia Rose Caton, 86, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.  She was born March 19, 1935 in Terre Haute to Garlin H. Bell and Rosella M. Sheese.  Jenny never met a stranger and was known for her hugs. She was a member of Maryland Community Church.  Most of all, Jenny loved to spend time with her beloved family.  The children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her whole world.

She is survived by sons Robert Caton (Brenda) and William Caton, daughters Brenda Vestal (Ronnie) and Loretta Henry (Eric), grandchildren Letitia (Michael), Ashlee (Ben), Leslee (Adam), Brittney (Zach), Kyle (Brooke), Kody, and Justin; thirteen great grandchildren, and brother Jerry Bell (Nancy).  Jenny was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Rosella Sheese and Dallas Sheese, father and stepmother Garlin Bell and Ann Bell, her beloved husband of 45 years Ernest Curtis Caton, infant son Stephen Price, Jr., and brother Garlin Sonny Bell and sister-in-law Jane Bell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ric May officiating.  Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery.  A special thank you goes out to Heartland Hospice, Comfort Keepers, and Golden Heart for the love and care they gave to Jenny. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heartland Hospice or Alzheimer’s Research.
