Sister Ruth Ellen Doane passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana. She was 84 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 67 years.

Funeral services for Sister Ruth Ellen will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

A virtual wake will take place at 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral liturgy without Eucharist at 11 a.m.
