Sharon Lee High, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday November 6, 2024 in her residence. Sharon spent many years as a cook and supervisor in various Vigo County Schools and Indiana State University. She was born June 1, 1940 in Terre Haute to Harry and Charlotte R (Yocum) VonEute. She is survived by her daughter, Deanna Sipes (Thomas); son, Thomas High (Jeri Humphrey); grandchildren, Justin Sipes (Jamie), Courtney Sipes, and Sophia Humphrey. She was proceeded in death by her husband William Thomas High, who died August 13, 1999 and whom she married November 8, 1959; brother and sister-in-law, Fredrick VonEute and wife Carol; niece, Courtney VonEute and nephew, Christopher VonEute. Sharon enjoyed gardening, camping, cooking and baking and she loved her dogs. Visitation will be Thursday November 14, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Doctor Vicky Eaton officiating.
