Sharon Lee Ferguson, 81, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Union Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on July 5, 1938 to Noval and Nadine (Eaton) Nicoson. Sharon worked for First Financial Bank for over 40 years. She was a member of the Maryland Home Economics Club, treasurer of the Honey Creek Alumni Association, children’s choir director at Maryland Community Church for many years, belonged to the First Financial Retirees Association, and was very involved in activities while living at Westminster Village. Sharon also enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Sharon is survived by her daughters LeAnn Moore (David), Lisa Lively (Bruce) of Terre Haute, and Laura Wright (Larry) of Greenwood, Indiana; grandchildren Justin Moore (Tricia), Josh Moore (Kelly), Jennifer Wallace (David), Nick Lively (Darienne), Megan Fisher (George), and Miranda Lively; great-grandchildren Colten, Easton, Raelyn, Ryler, Nixon, Charlotte, Brooklyn, and two more great-granddaughters on the way, sister Sheila Nicoson, brother Jay Nicoson (Laura), and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and the father of her three daughters, Charles T. Ferguson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel beginning at 12 noon. (due to new Indiana guidelines we will be limiting visitation to groups of 25 in the chapel at one time). A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Reverend Jeff Lee will be officiating.
