Sean Michael “Mike” Mangram, 54, of Farmersburg died Monday May 31, 2021 in his residence. He was retired from G.E. Aviation. Mike was born July 18, 1966 in Santa Ana, California to Lloyd Mangram and Joyce (Sheldom) Ramirez. He is survived by his wife, Jill (Chilton) Mangram; daughters, Katelynn Mangram, Abby Pitts (Austin), and Ivy Mangram; sisters, Julia Umphries (Justin) and Dorcas Studey (Joe); brother, Frank Ramirez; granddaughter, Henlee Pitts; father-in-law, Larry Fish; mother-in-law, Patsy Chilton; sisters-in-law, Cari Dorfmeyer, Lisa Hayes (Steve), and Hydi Counterman (Clint); brother-in-law, Raymond Chilton (Pam) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Frank Ramirez; mother-in-law, Janice Fish; father-in-law, Raymond Chilton and brother-in-law, Kenny Dorfmeyer. Mike was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Sullivan County for 7 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Visitation will be Saturday June 5, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Chapel at West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg with funeral services starting at 3:00 pm in the chapel with Pastor Jim Larger officiating. Burial will follow in West lawn Cemetery. DeBaun Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Town of Farmersburg to help with future law enforcement costs.
