Ruth Ann (Hicks) Puckett

Ruth Ann Puckett, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday October 26, 2024 in her residence. She was born September 23, 1939 in Vigo County to Robert H. and Reggie Mae (Roberts) Hicks. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Summer Slankard (Mark); sons, Duane Huebner (Sandy), Paul Huebner (Peggy), Jim Huebner (Lesley), and Craig Huebner (Paula); step-daughters, Wendi Morgan and Ronda Ravellette (Tom); step-son, Wayne Puckett; brother, Jim Hicks (Lee); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and former husband, Paul L. Huebner. She was preceded in death by her husband Gib Puckett and former husband Flaud Long; son, Kevin Huebner; sister, Doris Pickens and brothers, Jack Hicks and Earl Hicks. Ruth was a member of Pimento Community Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion, VFW, and a lifetime member of the Eagles Lodge. Visitation will be Friday November 1, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Don Ransford officiating.
