Ronald Lee Ring, 76, passed away November 6, 2025 at The Gibson Hospice Center. He was born March 6, 1949 to Charles H. Ring and Myrna A. Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Rachel Marie Ring and Carly Alene Ring.
He is survived by a brother, Randy Ring (Bev) and nephew Keith Ring (Pam).
Ron graduated from Wiley High School in 1967 and attended Indiana State University. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War era, serving with Commander 7th Fleet as a staff driver in Yokosuka, Japan and on board the 7th Fleet Flagship USS Oklahoma City CLG-5. He was a Golden Eagle with FOE #291 and a member of American Legions 104 404, a lifetime member of VFW Post 972 where he held several offices and served 11 years on the Lake Committee. He worked Bingo with the VFW for 14 years.
Per Ron’s wishes, there will be no funeral services or visitation. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his daughters whom he loved dearly and knew they loved him.
