Rodney “Roddy” Duane Good Jr., 56, passed away in the morning of September 4, 2024. He was born in Danville, IL to Rodney Good Sr. and Penny Thomas Bosley on May 7, 1968. He is survived by his parents and step-mother Bonnie Good, brother Matt and wife Annie (Guerric), brother Chris and wife Lisa (Tristen, Ali, Marisa), sister Jennifer Kelly and husband Bob (Jake, Isaac, and Patty), sister Brooke Polivka and husband Steve (Ben).
Roddy was a man with many interests. He ran his first Coal Bucket Marathon at 13 years old. He transitioned from running to cycling completing the Ride Across Indiana several times. He attended the University of Illinois and completed his final year of study in Barcelona, Spain earning a BA in Spanish. He loved Spain so much he lived there for seven years. He continued his love of languages by learning how to speak eight languages.
He had a broad career starting with teaching English in Spain, project manager for a studio in California, supervisor at DADC in Terre Haute, and finally became a Journeyman Electrician for IBEW 725.
Arrangements will be handled by DeBaun Funeral Home with a private ceremony for family.
