Pamela Sue Jeffords Newhart, formerly of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly May 7, 2021. She was born in Burke, South Dakota on May 24, 1951, to John L. Jeffords and Beverly J. Ivers Jeffords. Pam was a lifelong resident of Terre Haute until retirement in Lake Alfred, Florida.
Pam worked as a teacher's aide at Fuqua Elementary School and as a secretary for Commercial Radio. She was an avid bowler and quilter. Most of all, Pam loved her family and would move mountains for her children and grandchildren. Despite Covid, she was able to celebrate her 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2020.
Pam is survived by the love of her life, Robert (Mike) Newhart and her two sons, Michael (Shayne) and Brooke Newhart of Kenansville, Fl. and Erik and Sheila Newhart of Terre Haute, IN. In addition, she was survived by two grandsons, Jackson Newhart and fiance Reagan Langley and Braxton Newhart. Pam is also survived by five siblings: Bruce(Marie) Jeffords, Larry(Cindy) Jeffords, Chris(Jennifer) Jeffords, Stephanie(Barry) Brace, and Debby(Bob) Larson. Lastly, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, father and mother-in-law Robert and Loretta Newhart, and two sisters: Natalie Nelson and Becky Diller.
At this time, there will be no visitation or service. DeBaun Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
