Norma "I.E." Davies Obituary

Norma Lee "I.E." Davies, 91 of Clearwater, Florida and formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana died peacefully Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born on November 24, 1927 to John and Laverne (Gilmour) Hill.

She married David Thomas Davies on August 18, 1947 and after 60 years of marriage, he preceded her in death. She retired from Columbia Records in 1979.

I.E. is survived by her adoring family, including her loving son, John Davies of Clearwater, FL, two daughters, Mary Ann Jenkins and husband, Bill of Naples FL and LeeAnn Mann and husband Eddie of Long Island, NY; two grandchildren, Jeff Jenkins and wife Chrissy, of Nashville, TN and Morgan Lee Moccia and wife, Joanna of Long Island, NY; three great grandchildren, Avery, Beau, and Hunter; one sister, Mary Alice Dunnichay and brother-in-law, Jerry; along with nine nieces and nephews.

I.E. was a member of Alpha Omicron PI Sorority, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter West Terre Haute, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a long standing member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Terre Haute, and Lutheran Church of the Palm in Palm Harbor, FL.

A funeral service celebrating I.E.'s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22, 2018 prior to the funeral service at DeBaun Funeral Home.

Dunnichay Funeral Home of Elwood has been entrusted with local arrangements.
