Mary C Doty

Mary C Doty, 83, of West Terre Haute passed away in union Hospital on July 29, 2018.  She was born to Thomas M Bailey Sr and Pauline (Mikolask) Bailey on June 23, 1935.  Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband Gary A Doty, whom passed away on September 14, 2002; and her brother Thomas M Bailey Jr.  Mary is survived by her son Gary Christopher Doty (Stephanie); two daughters Shari Pomeroy (Don) and Terry Bedwell (Randy);  sister Alice Dix (Wayne); Grandchildren Joshua Doty (Will Turpin-Doty), Erik Pomeroy (Jessica Pell), Aaron Doty, Jack Hayes (Ashley), Shannon Hayes, Dan Pomeroy (Sarah), and Stephanie Doty-Wilhelm (Steve);  great-grandchildren, Kaelynn Stallard,  Lukas Wilhelm, Silas Hayes, Lola Pomeroy, Everett Doty, and future Ivy Hayes, as well as her trusty companion Shaggy.  Mary was a member of the Wabash Valley Power Squadron as well as an Associate Member of the Wabash Valley Amateur Radio Association.  She was very active in Maryland Church’s Ladies Bible Class and The Missionary Society in the 1960’s and early 70’s.  Mary Enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, gardening, crafting and all animals in general.  Mary loved spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was lovingly known as Babo by her great-grandchildren.  There will be a graveside services for Mary and Gary at a later date. Online condolences may be left at DeBaunFuneralHomes.com
