Mary Auman Obituary

Mary Lou Auman, 92 of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Signature Healthcare. Mary was retired from Schultz Department Store as a Department Manager of the Big and Tall Men’s Department. Mary was born January 27, 1927, in Terre Haute to James Riley Weese and Lela Frances Huffman Weese. Survivors include one son Billy Joe Auman and wife Barbara Auman of Terre Haute; a daughter Sue Harshbarger and husband Doug of Plymouth, IN. Four grandsons and their wives, Tony and Candy Auman, Dana and Dee Anna Auman, Michael and Chantel Esch and Charles and Jennifer Esch; three great-granddaughters, Shelby Beasley (Christopher), Lacey Auman and Chloe Auman; great-great-grandchildren Waylon, Kayden, and Kendall Beasley. Her husband, William J. Auman preceded her in death on August 10, 1999. Mary was the last of six siblings, Howard, Virgil, and Clarence Weese, Helen Kingery, and Cedona O’Dell. A private service will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery, next to her husband in eternal life. The family would like to thank everyone at Signature Healthcare Maple Avenue and Southern Care for their love and kindness to Mary throughout her stay at Signature and her last days here on Earth.
