Mark Heramb Obituary

Mark Anthony Heramb (Dad, Grumpy, Tony), 65 of Terre Haute, IN passed away on Labor Day, September 5th, 2022, in the comfort of his own home in Plant City, FL with his wife right by his side.

Tony and Debbie Heramb amassed 5 children and lived a charmed life full of love, laughter, romance, adventure, and family. Tony was an entrepreneur at heart and enjoyed many years working alongside his family at their store in Mt Juliet, TN. Upon retiring back to Florida, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family was ever important to him and quality of time with them all became his way of being. Grumpy enjoyed vacations wherever his kids would drag him and he was the mellow, deep laughter they all loved so much to hear in the background of their family madness. He towered over most and peered out with piercing blue eyes. If you knew Grumpy, you know he was brilliant, a genius. He knew every answer to the Jeopardy questions and was a wealth of knowledge well beyond his years. He was straightforward, even brash at times, yet quiet and reserved. He saved up his words for answers to questions, well thought out opinions, and so much wit and humor was at the ready. He showed his family he loved them through actions. That was his way. His family will continue to gather and feast and laugh in his memory. They will listen to classic southern rock, watch Westerns, play golf and board games in his memory. They will keep quality family time at the forefront of their lives and continue to teach their children and children's children to do so as well. He will never be forgotten, that is just not possible. He will be with us all always. Tony proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Mark Anthony Heramb is survived by his mother, Peggy Heramb Bailey and sisters, Kelly Heramb Cook and Penny Heramb Smith. His adoring wife, Deborah Heramb. Their children, Mark Heramb, Michael Heramb, Deborah Alvarez Neff (Mitchell Neff), Nicole Minutello (Derrick Minutello), Joshua Heramb (Kacie Brittany Moncier), 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tony has been reunited with his father, Donald Heramb, brother, Jeff Heramb, fathers-in-law, Tom Morehead & Tom Rotella, grandson, Tyler Heramb, and great-grandson, Iggy McIntosh who preceded him in death.
