Marjorie Ann Thomas, 86, passed away in Fort Wayne, IN on March 22, 2021. She was born on July, 11 1934 to Paul Harris and Margaret Harris in Fairbanks, Sullivan County. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Thomas, as well as her daughter-in-law Michelle Thomas. She is survived by her sons James Thomas (Patty) and John Thomas, both of Fort Wayne; brother Marvin Harris of Shelburn, IN; sisters Rosemary Fuson of Terre Haute, Cecelia Barbee of Fairbanks, Jeannie Jenkins, of Sullivan, IN, and Lois Whitkannack of Prarire Creek, IN; grandchildren Trish Kirtland (Aaron), Jeb Thomas (Ashley), Eric Thomas ( Rebecca), and Chelsie Frelin (Jake); great-grandchildren Branden, Blake, Claire, Kate, Leonardo, Penelope, Clementine, Ryder, and Breckyn, as well as several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a retired media clerk; she worked for Fort Wayne community schools. She was a member of Fort Wayne Christian Church. She loved watching sports on TV, especially rooting for IU and always against Purdue. Marjorie loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Marjorie will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, March 27 from 12:00-2:00 PMwith funeral services starting at 2:00 PM. Burial at Pogue Cemetery will follow. Pastor Don Ransford will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to Pogue Cemetery.
