Marilyn Joan Fortune

Marilyn Joan Fortune, 90, passed away on June 3, 2024. She was born on May 1, 1934 in Terre Haute to Bernie Ensminger and Dessie (Harris) Ensminger. She retired from Union Hospital as an LPN. She enjoyed cross stitch. She also liked to do woodworking and painted those pieces with her husband.

She was survived by her daughters Sandra Schoffstall (Paul) and Barbara Farkas (Denny), 5 grandchildren, along with several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Fortune, daughters Karen Bird and Sharon Fortune, and many siblings.

Graveside services will be held Monday June 17, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Bethesda Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
