Lynn M. Tucker

Lynn M. Tucker, 71, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Gibson Hospice Center following a long illness.  She was born and raised in Terre Haute.  She attended St. Benedict grade school and graduated from Schulte High School in 1968.  Lynn then went to Harrold’s Beauty Academy and was a hairdresser for 45 years at Ron’s Style Shack.

She was preceded in death by both parents, William Underhill, Sr. and Alice Paddock, an older sister Carol Lou who passed at age 3 ½, and her partner and husband Terry who passed in 2018.

Lynn is survived by brother Deacon William Underhill, Jr. (Karen) of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, sister and constant companion Diann Green (Tom) of Terre Haute, daughter Jennifer Evans and granddaughter Falcon Harris of Floyd, Virginia, stepdaughter Wendy Godwin (Jeoff) of Florida and their children, Aaron, Claire, and Zoe, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by many many wonderful, supportive girlfriends and her crazy fur baby, dog, Willie Nelson.

Lynn was a master gardener and loved working in her flowers and yard.  She enjoyed horseback riding and swimming when she was younger, Jeeping with Terry all over the United States, and took many road trips with her sister Diann.  She loved meeting up for lunch with her Schulte Golden Girls Class of 1968, as well as special friends Judy Dragon and Saralyn Youngblood.  Lynn will be missed by all.

Cremation was entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 24, 2022, at DeBaun Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In honor of Lynn, donations may be made to the family for her granddaughter’s education fund.
