Linda Kaye (Hoopingarner) Haney

Linda Kaye Haney, 81, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 9, 1943, in Terre Haute to Howard J. Hoopingarner and Fredia B. Jeffers Hoopingarner.  Linda loved to play cards and games on her computer.  She was a true crime fanatic.  Her personality was larger than life and she had an attitude to match.  Linda took great pride in her appearance and loved getting her hair done every Friday.  Most of all she loved spending time with her beloved family.

Linda is survived by her sons Troy Bemis and Danny Bemis, grandchildren Nikki, Tiffany, Zach, Kelly, and Abby; several great-grandchildren, siblings Howard Hoopingarner (Betty), David Hoopingarner (Natalie), Dorn Hoopingarner (Sherri), Deann Goetz (Ken), Levi Medley, II and Scott Medley, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Haney, sister Ladonna Collins, and brother Thomas Hoopingarner.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.  Service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Chris Stahlman will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
