Leona Alice (Pearl) Porter

Leona “Alice” Porter, 86, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday January 13, 2022 in her residence. She was born June 16, 1935 in Odon, Indiana to Alfred Pearl and Beatrice (Simpson) Westmoreland. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ronald Porter; daughter, Ronalda Lynn Bratcher (Kevin) of Anderson, Indiana; son, Bradley Porter (Robin) of Dana, Indiana; grandchildren, Dana Conner (Jim), Zachariah Porter (Amanda), Staci Einspahr (Cliff), Matthew Porter (Brittany), and Sami Raymond (Alex); great-grandchildren, Carissa Connfield, Carly Conner, Lorelai Einspahr, Maci Einspahr, Maddy Porter, Mason Porter, Crosby Porter, Ivy Raymond, Lilah Raymond, Piper Porter, Maverick Raymond, and Owen Porter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Porter and brother, Charles Westmoreland. Alice was a charter member (1953) of Southside Church of the Nazarene. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, fishing, camping, doing puzzle books, going to festivals, and good Southern Gospel music. Alice was a very lovely lady and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Wednesday January 19, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Dale Stoops and her son, Reverend Brad Porter officiating. The family has requested that those visiting in person, please wear masks. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, Indiana.
