Laura Jeanne (Davis) Rexrode

Laura Jeanne Rexrode, 87, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday January 28, 2018 at 1:56 am in Cobblestone Crossing, She retired from 5/3 Bank as an Executive Secretary. Laura was born February 1, 1930 in Vigo County to Clarence R. Davis and Mary L. (Ray) Davis. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Long (Jeff); a son, Brian Rexrode (Joy); grandchildren, Justin Long, Jason Long, Caroline Rexrode, Brianne Rexrode, and Alelia Rexrode; a sister, Ruth Hayhurst (Russ); a special cousin, Reva Puller (Ken); a brother-in-law, Richard Rexrode and several nieces and nephews. Laura was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and also a member of Order of Eastern Star, Riley Chapter 22, the Daughters of Nile Badoura Temple #24, the Honored Ladies of Zorah Shrine, the Red Hat Society, Wabash Western Riders, and Swinging Mates Square Dancing Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Kennie A Rexrode, Jr. who died February 18, 2009. Visitation will be Tuesday January 30, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 1:30 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may made to either Kindred Hospice or Shriners Hospital for Children.
