Josiah Samuel Wilkin

Josiah Samuel Wilkin, 20, of Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly Friday October 27, 2023 in Union Hospital. He was a student at Indiana State University, pursuing a degree in Digital Film and Media. Josiah was born September 4, 2003 in Evansville, Indiana to Chad and LaDonna (Toler) Wilkin. He is survived by his loving parents; sister, Jocelyn Wilkin; brother, Jensen Wilkin; maternal grandmother, Barbara Toler; paternal grandparents, Don and June Wilkin; maternal great-grandmother, Emily Gwinn; aunts, Heather Sherman (Tim), Deborah Trautmann (Mark), and Edie Toler (Kody Giacomo); uncles, Sean Wilkin (Lana) and Todd Toler (Brittany) and many, many cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louis Toler. Josiah was a member of Marshall Baptist Church and an avid sports fan and lover of all things Superhero and Star Wars. Despite being born with Arthrogryposis, he maintained a wonderful, positive outlook on life. He loved talking to people and was a friend to everyone. Josiah was 100% a miracle. Visitation will be Wednesday November 1, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in First Southern Baptist Church. 1200 E. Davis Dr., Terre Haute, IN 47802 with funeral services on Thursday November 2, 2023 at 4:00 pm in the church with Pastor Paul Cooper officiating. The family requests the folks wear their favorite Superhero, Star Wars, or St. Louis Cardinals shirts to the service.
