Obituary

Joe R. Hogan, 99, passed away peacefully July 28, 2023.  He was born in the 1920s to Pat and Pearl Hogan.  He married Marge, the love of his life, after returning from WWII.  He is survived by his daughter Gwen, grandson Scott, niece Linda and nephews Patrick and Kevin.  He is preceded in death by his wife, two children, David and Denise, two siblings, Don and Marie, niece Sharon, nephew Alan, and both parents.

Some of Joe's most memorable moments were traveling this country in his RV with his wife and attending rallies. Joe loved to tinker and fix things.  His favorite years in management involved analog systems, solving problems at various facilities in the Midwest.  These skills also helped keep his boat motors running, no small feat!  He enjoyed the pristine waters of northern Michigan, Indiana's Lake Wawasee in retirement and "Life Below Zero" in later years.  Most of all, Joe loved his family.  His sense of duty and his sense of humor were strong. Joe will be remembered with great fondness, may he rest in peace.

A private burial will be held at Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
