Jimmy "Butch" Correll passed away January 21, 2020 in Terre Haute, IN. He was born August 14, 1948 in Paris, Illinois to Lowden and Bertha (Elliott) Correll.
Butch attended school at Deming and McLean. He was a Gerstmeyer High School graduate in the class of 1967.
He married his high school sweetheart, Camilla (Kidd) Correll on June 17, 1967. They celebrated their 52nd anniversary last year.
Butch retired from Brentlinger Distribution after working for Lovelace, TMX and Doxie Foods as an over the road driver for 38 years.
Walking the beach at his North Hutchinson Island home in Florida, cruises, travel, fishing with his grandson and cooking for others brought him enjoyment. Most of all, he cherished being with his family. His love for them was immense.
Butch is survived by his wife, Camilla, two loving daughters, Michelle Correll (Jim Schultheis) and Lori (Dennis) Larsen; grandson, Andrew Larsen; nephew, Scott (Yasuko) Rudisel and niece, Robin Penrod; great-nephews, Tyler (Iryna) Penrod and Josh Rudisel, great-niece, Jordan (Justin) Pendergrass; great-great nieces, Monroe and Andersen Pendergrass; and cousins, Judith Warr, Donnie Hancock, Donna Hancock; and many treasured friends.
He was preceded in death by is parents; sister Mary Ellen Elliott; grandmother, Julia Elliott; and cousin, Charles Hancock.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12:45 p.m. with service beginning at 1:00. Reverend Jeff Lee will be officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
