Jeffrey Reed Tarry

Jeffrey Reed Tarry, 61, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. He was born on March 15, 1961, in Glasgow, Kentucky to parents Barbara and Hadie.

Jeff had many interests and hobbies such as fishing and carpentry, but hunting whitetail deer and playing golf were the two he loved the most.

He spent most of his life working with his hands in many different fields including: maintenance and remodeling, a tile setter, and finally a master plumber. When he wasn't working, hunting, or golfing, he could always be found in the garage tinkering on something.

As an ordained minister, Jeff helped bring a few families together forever; a proud tradition that he held in high regard.

He is survived by his wife Dawn, 5 sons Jeffrey (Katie), Nicholas (Katie), Jacob (Lilith), Mike (Courtney) and Matt (Rebecca). Along with his 8 grandchildren: Riley, Delilah, Penelope, Sydney, Vivian, Justus, Amira and Ezra.

Jeff was an entrepreneur, a father, a husband, a grandfather, a brother and a great friend whose presence will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Service will begin at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.  Reverend Steve Beck will be officiating.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
