Jeff W. Vidal

Jeff William Vidal, 66, passed away Tuesday morning March 16th at Newburgh Healthcare, where he had lived for the last 15 years. 

He was born on August 20, 1954 to Donald and Mary (Plascak) Vidal in Terre Haute, Indiana. He graduated from Terre Haute South High School in 1973. Jeff was a longtime employee of Data Label of Terre Haute.

Jeff is survived by sisters Jayne (Steve) Wilson and Michele (Tom) Taylor as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by lifelong friend Robert Irving.

Jeff loved to read. His vast collection was filled with political nonfiction; presidential biographies; and legendary sports stories. He was a huge fan of the Bears; the Cubs; and Hoosier basketball. 

The family would like to thank Newburgh Healthcare for the care they have provided through the years. Bruce Baker took a special interest to provide what Jeff needed to be happy and comfortable. The entire nursing and care staff were wonderful to Jeff. A special mention to Ann, one of his favorites, who was with Jeff to the end. We would also like to thank Dr. Harry Harvey- his longtime physician, and Brandy at Heart To Heart Hospice.
