Jared Williams

Jared Smock Williams, 40, of Chicago, IL died unexpectedly on March 1, 2020 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. He was born May 13, 1979 in Terre Haute to Patricia Clark Smock Williams and James Smock. He was adopted by Bert Williams at an early age. He is survived by his parents, Patricia and Bert Williams; a daughter Ruby Marie Case; siblings Brad Williams (Erica), Becky Swenson (Greg), and James Smock; his uncles George Clark, Vic Clark (Susan), Bill Smock (Jamie), and Jed Smock (Cindy); and his Grandmother Carolyn Clark.
     He was preceded in death by his paternal father James Smock; his aunt Mary Clark; and his grandparents Ivan Clark, Betty Clark, Bert and Eleanor Williams, and George and Charlotte Smock.Jared attended Terre Haute North High School. He was a professional model, extensively traveling Europe and the United States on various assignments.  He was a Realtor with Williams and Associates. Though Jared died young, he got to live life his way.  He traveled the world making friends in many places. He motor cycled across the country, followed all types of sports, attending many events, oh yes, collecting sports memorabilia along the way.  Jared was a friend to so many people, especially those in need.He so loved his daughter Ruby, his family, friends and dog Machen. He was a good man, a beloved son who will be missed and was truly appreciated. Visitation for Jared will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6. Jared’s desire was to be cremated and his ashes spread in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
