Janet Y. (Gorby) Cutsinger

Janet Y. Cutsinger, 93, passed away on January 22, 2026. She was born on December 18, 1932 in Coalmont, IN to William Gorby and Katherine (Faulds) Gorby. Janet and her late husband, George Cutsinger, loved fishing and traveling together. She was active in the Northside Community United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing cards.

She is survived by her son George “Randy” Cutsinger (Diane), daughter Pamella Sappingfield (Tom), grandchildren Eddie Glaspie (Tiffany) and Tricia Glaspie, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, both parents, brother Larry Gorby, and sister Pat Kirby.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm at DeBaun Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 1pm. Burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
