James Waggoner III, 75, of Terre Haute passed away February 28, 2025. James was born on September 7, 1949, to James and Mary Waggoner in Novato, CA. He worked in factories, landscaping, Inland Aquatics, and lots of religious volunteer work. James was a compassionate man and worried about others, loved traveling on volunteer trips to preach or to build kingdom halls, talking about his God, Jehovah, He helped his brother, David, understand our religion in a way he could relate to and he never forgot it, was very knowledgeable about just about everything, especially the Bible, he enjoyed telling humorous stories and tall tales, taking slow trip down the river, music, he liked eating breakfast out and could often be seen with a cup of coffee and a book at Denny’s, also enjoyed the simple life immensely like sitting around a campfire, he loved any critter (dogs, cats, fish, pigs, ex) and he had a pet rooster named Red/Roho that he would take to town.
James is preceded in death by his father James and Mary. He is survived by Wife, Marilyn Jo Waggoner (Richardson), Daughter, Suzy Lawson (Anthony), Son, Jamie Waggoner, Sister, Dawn Hipkiss, Brother, Dale Waggoner (Nona), Brother, Dean Waggoner (Ellen), Brother, David Waggoner (Elizabeth), Many nieces and nephews, and He had many friends who loved him.
Services will be held at North Kingdom Hall on May 3, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
