James Edward Patton

James Edward Patton 89, of Terre Haute, IN passed away November 3, 2023 at 8:41 pm at home peacefully with his wife and 3 girls by his side. He was born in Terre Haute on August 1, 1934. He was the son of Cecil Raymond and Tabitha Stuffel Patton. Jim graduated from Wiley HS and Indiana State University. He was a member of Union Christian Church and the Free and Accepted Masons. Jim proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958. He served at McCoy Air Force Base in Orlando, Florida in the 447th Bomb Squad and the 321st Bomb Wing. He is survived by wife: Marilynn, (48 years) daughters Cynthia Lindsay of Farmersburg, IN Michelle (Randy) Moon of Bowling Green, IN and Debbie Feller from Ankeny, Iowa. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also survived by great niece Shelly Patton of Terre Haute and a very special great nephew, James Lee Patton of Ponce Del Leon, FL Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 8. 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Park 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Fleschner officiating.
