Harold "Bud" William Hopler

Harold William “Bud” Hopler, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday May 4, 2025 in his residence surrounded by his family. He retired after 30 years with IBM as a Field Tech and Manager. He was born March 20, 1940 in Oak Park, Illinois to Harold William and Dorothy Grace (Gray) Hopler. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Pamela (Simons) Hopler; daughters, Susan Meyer and Sandra Hirsch (David); son, Eric M. Hopler; sister, Judith Stone (John); grandson, William Meyer; granddaughter, Alexandria Sisson (John); great-grandson, Gabriel Sisson and several nieces and nephews. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy; a member of the Riley Masonic Lodge #390 and a former volunteer with the Honey Creek Volunteer Fire Department. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 12 pm to 2 pm at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a memorial service starting at 2 pm.
