Harold E. “Scrappy” Wilson, 71, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. He was born March 10, 1949 in Terre Haute to Harold “Herbie” H. Wilson and Clara “Kat” Hill Wilson. Harold served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of the Prairieton Masonic lodge, enjoyed golfing, and spent many hours with his beloved dogs Ben and Charlie.
He is survived by his mother Clara “Kat” Wilson, daughters Laura Wilson, Julie Walters (Brandon), and April Ogle (Jelani); grandchildren Vincent Bosstick, Katelynn Thomas, Ethan Woods, Jaylee Walters, Braden Walters, Savannah Ogle, and Ariana Ogle, great-grandchildren Brenton Bosstick, Braxton Bosstick, and Kayanne Jordan. He is also survived by brothers Kevin Wilson and Jeffery Wilson, sisters Carol Jory, Sharon Keegan, Debbie Quenzler, and Barbara Wilson. Harold is preceded in death by his father, his wife Sandra Wilson, sister Pam Chambers, and brother Randall Wilson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Services will follow visitation. Military Honors will be presented. Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
