George “Butch” Eugene Crowley, Jr. 79, Born in Terre Haute and currently of Anchorage, Alaska and Kauai, Hawaii, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1946, in Terre Haute to George E. Crowley Sr. and June Marie Martin Crowley. Butch proudly served his county in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 until 1972. He worked as a Union Electrician with IBEW Local 349 in Florida in 1972 after being discharged from the Marines. Butch retired after many years with the IBEW LU 1547 in Anchorage, Alaska.
He is survived by his daughter Debraly Gamache son in law Joseph Gamache, grandchildren Connor Gamache, Claire Gamache Caroline Gamache and Ashley Crowley and Autumn Crowley. Siblings Georgia Crowley, Harry Crowley, Don Crowley and Marlene Cox (Dave); nieces, nephews, and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Clinton Crowley, brothers Jim Crowley and Jack Crowley, and sister Brenda Breneman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors. Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
