Genevieve A. “Jenny” Bushue Wilson
On April 19, 2021, she ran into the arms of her Heavenly Father. Jenny was born to Arch Bushue and Hattie Warner Bushue in Mason,Illinois on April 24, 1933.She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Wilson,Her sisters, Madonna Bushue and Bernice Smith and her brothers, Gerald Bushue,and Adrian Bushue.She is survived by her 5 children, Jackie (Max) Hoffman, Connie (Steve) Whitaker, J.R. (T.K.) Wilson, Ann (Ron) Herrick and Ken “Chopper” (Lisa) Wilson. And her beloved Grandchildren that she called “The Pretty Birds”: Lydia Stevens. Heidi (Stephen) Fern, Megan (Jonathon) Fruchte, Justin Whitaker, Emily Wilson, Claire (James) Craigmyle, Monica (Cy) Deiter, Hattie Wilson,Misty (Samuel) Gendron, Samantha (Alan) Garnett-Sias, Nathan (Elaine) Garnett, Morgan Wilson, Sade(Dan) Hatcher, Madison Wilson, Sydney Wilson. Great-grandchildren, Payton Conley, Kendyl & Dillion Stephens, Wyatt & Tessa Fern, Gabriel, Josephine & Benjamin Fruchte, Isaac & Simon Gendron, Abigail Sias, Leona Garnett and Michael Budgell. One sister, Anita Perkins and a host of nieces and nephews in Illinois. She dearly loved and served in many areas at her home church, First Baptist North since 1956. Jenny was an excellent seamstress and owned her own bridal store, Cupid’s Domain. She was one of the owners of PIP Printing and involved in the daily operations. After her husband, Jack retired; they served on the mission field in Dinorwic, Ontario Canada at Camp of The Woods in the summers of 1985 to 2003. She cooked for over 100 campers. In the winters they helped at the Rio Grand Bible Institute in Edinburg, Texas and Monterey Mexico from 1989-2003. She loved Operation Christmas Child and packed many shoeboxes. She traveled to Rwanda Africa when she was 81 years old and handed out shoeboxes. She also went whitewater rafting that year. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, May 9th at 6 pm at First Baptist North 2944 E. Hall Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47805. Pastor Brett Parks officiating.
