Dorothy (Kieninger) Senff

Dorothy Kieninger Senff, 83, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 6:40 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She worked for many years at the hallmark Store and had also been a school teacher. She was born April 2, 1935 in Wittenburg, MO to Willard Ruben Kieninger and Dora Marie (Boehme) Kieninger and baptized on April 7, 1935. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Jimmie D. Senff, whom she married May 31, 1958; a daughter, Jill Talley; sons, Jeffery Senff and Michael Senff (Jill); sisters, Velda Fiscko and Vivian Kranawetter; a brother, Alan Kieninger; grandchildren, Jennifer Belknap (Carl), Steven Talley (Brianna), Matthew Talley, Jessica McCall, Rebekah Jenkins (Thomas), Elicia Senff, and Ethan Senff, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Niederstadt. Dorothy was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she took great pride in taking care of the church library. She also enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Visitation will be Saturday April 14, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church with funeral services at 11:00 am in the church with Pastor Jacob Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. DeBaun Springhill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
