Doris May (Risinger) Kruzan

Doris May (Risinger) Kruzan, 97, passed away on May 03, 2022, in Wyndmoor Senior Living Community. She was born on January 3, 1925, in Vigo County, to Asa and Anna (Owen) Risinger. Doris was a retired secretary at Vigo County School Corporation. Doris is survived by son, Mark Allen Kruzan (Rhonda); grandchildren Michael C. Kruzan (Tisha Rickard), Tonya Kruzan (Tommy Long), Kristie Kruzan (Alonzo Suggs); step granddaughter Michelle Beck (Jason); great-grandchildren Koltn Kruzan, Azlyn Kruzan, Rhyane Beck, Riley Beck, Thomas Long, David Long, Kaylee Long, Katlyn Gruse, Mykil Withrow, Jr, Jazaman Suggs, Zoey Lynn Suggs, Matthew and Dawson Rickard; sister Esther Spires and brother-in-law Bob Hipplehauser. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred T. Kruzan; son David Earl Kruzan; daughter-in-law Sue Kruzan; sisters Ruth Hipplehauser and Leota Taylor; sisters-in-law Carly Kruzan and Bernidese Notter; brothers-in-law Chet Spires, Clyde Taylor, and Bob Kruzan. Doris was a member of Oregon Baptist Church since she was 13 years old. She was also a member of the Breast Cancer Survivors, Wednesday Night Sewing Connection, Regional Guild, Red Hat Club, IMC Retirees, Senior Friends, and OES #43. And she volunteered at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Visitation will be Monday May 9, 2022, from 11am to 1pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1pm in the funeral home with Reverend Brad Geary officiating. Burial following in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Oregon Baptist Church.
