Daniel "Dan" L. Albright

Daniel "Dan" "Danny" L. Albright, 76, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023.  He was born September 4, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan to Glenn Albright and Clara Cobb Albright.  Dan served his country in the United States Army.  He loved racing and was the co-owner of American Racing Enterprises.  He enjoyed watching action movies and westerns. He also enjoyed watching football, his teams were the Colts and the Chiefs.  Dan was a member of the American Legion.  He loved to spend time with his family at the lake.  His dachshund, Bart, who preceded him in death was a loyal companion.  Most of all he enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren Garrison and Avalyn.

Dan is survived by his daughters Christina Brough (Gary), Sara Doyle (Shawn), son Scott Roberts, grandchildren Garrison and Avalyn, brothers Thomas Albright (Connie) and David Albright (Kari), and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife, Virginia “Ginny” Albright who passed away in 2005.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Service will begin at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Branham officiating.  Burial will follow at Hull Cemetery with military honors.
