Charles Michael “Mike” Julian, 75, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday March 17, 2022 in his residence. Following 30 years of service he retired as the Chaplain at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Mike was born January 23, 1947 in Sullivan to Charles Edwin and Betty Rose (Annis) Julian. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bertha (Barbee) Julian; daughters, Nina Storey (Steve) and Angela Julian (Brent Paulson); grandson, Eli Storey; brother, Mark Julian (Linda); nieces, Marily Hoover and Heather Hughes; nephew, Matthew Julian and several other nieces and nephews. Mike began his ministry in Fairbanks in 1968. He also served as a Chaplain for Hospice and with Camp Memiki. He loved reading, watching Indy racing and following IU Basketball with his grandson. Mike was deeply interested in researching family ancestry spending time in online investigation and traveling to various locations linked to family history. He was a classically trained pianist and served in music ministry in several churches and for special events. Visitation will be Tuesday March 22, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Ron Riggs officiating. Burial will be in K of P Cemetery in Hymera. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice or Susan G. Komen.
