He had planned to enter the priesthood and attended St. Meinrad, but another path called to him. He enrolled at Indiana University, eventually obtaining his master’s degree in theology. Chuck was an avid reader, loved to sing, enjoyed art, and was fascinated by science. His faith was his greatest strength. He had a voracious appetite for learning new things. Over the years, Chuck learned and worked in many different career fields. He retired as a supervisor for Phi Delta Kappa. After retirement he taught science at John Paul II Catholic High School. Chuck was very loving, warm, generous, and he had a great sense of humor. He loved people and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Most of all he was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. His family was his greatest joy and biggest accomplishment.
