Alice N. (Fleschner) Steward

Alice N. Steward, 90, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday May 22, 2022 in her residence. She was born December 27, 1931 in Terre Haute to George Harold and Bertha Ellen (Walls) Fleschner. Alice is survived by her daughter, Kathy Pallutch (Rob); sons, Gregory Steward and Brent Steward; brother, George Fleschner; grandchildren, Tina Christner (Don), Amy Bagley (Gary), Gina Bice (Mike), Kelly Pierce, B.J. Pallutch, Harrison Steward, Nate Long (Anne), and Madison Lehman (Adam); great-grandchildren, Hailee, Timmy, Ben, Madison, Seth, Zachary, Chandler, Cohen, Sam, Ethan, Ezra, Creed, Michael, Ivy, Teik, and Gianna and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sweetheart Joseph Clifford Steward, who she was married to for 63 years, he died April 25, 2016; sisters, Roberta Huber, Kiva Halt, Iva Sandberg, Jody Jacks, and Janet Krueger and brothers, Ernie Fleschner, and Alex Fleschner. Alice was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church, where she also belonged to the Ladies Bible Study Group. She was always a prayer warrior and encourager. Alice was a graduate of Honey Creek High School. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, taking pictures and mushroom hunting but most importantly she loved spending time with her family. Visitation will be Thursday May 26, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Mark Fleschner officiating.
