Zola Menk nee Gosnell was born on Dec. 11th, 1928, in Newton, IL to Roscoe Gosnell and his wife Grace Gosnell nee Nichols. One of twelve children, Zola spent her entire life in the Wabash Valley. After marrying Loren Menk of Grandview, IL in 1946 the couple settled in Paris, IL, where they had two daughters, Linda and Diana.

After Loren's death in 1978, Zola moved to Terre Haute, IN, where she remained the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her daughter Diana Menk and is survived by her daughter Linda Keltz nee Menk and granddaughter Heather Keltz. Zola was a long-time member of the Eastside Church of Christ, where she also worked for many years. She was an avid gardener and spent many happy hours planning and tending to her flowers.
