Wilma M. Neese, 84, long time Terre Haute resident, passed away at 11:07 November 9, 2015 at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana. She was born May 25, 1931 in Sims, IL to the late Iva (Jackson) and Otis Withrow. She married the love of her life, Herschel Neese on January 5, 1951 in Poland, IN and he has preceded her in death. Surviving are her son, Gene Neese (wife Janet) of Lafayette, IN; two granddaughters, Marsha Sanderock (husband Nick); Michelle Seeley (husband Greg). Two step-grandchildren Michelle Funk and Dennis Funk and four great-grandchildren; Her brothers Eldon (Shawneetown, IL); Harvey (Shawneetown, IL) and sisters Doris (Kokomo, IN) and Lois (Bloomington, IN). She was also preceded in death by her daughter Linda Burns (husband Mark); brothers Melvin and Gene, and sister Clowe. She was a longtime member of St. Mark United Church of Christ. Funeral services are scheduled in DeBaun Wabash Chapel, 2425 Wabash, on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Teresa Higus officiating.
