Obituary

Wilma Pearl Corby, 90, of Clinton passed away at her home on Sunday, December 28, 2025. She was born on November 30, 1935, in Hymera to John Allen and Alice Woods Allen.  Wilma retired from St. Mary of the Woods where she was a caregiver.  She married Jerry Corby on April 24, 1953, and they were married for nearly 28 years before his passing. Wilma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She helped her significant other, Stan Donham, when he was a caretaker of Bethesda Cemetery. Wilma loved to go mushroom hunting and she loved animals. She will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Brown and Marita Weger, son Jerry Corby (Rhoda), sister-in-law Virginia Allen, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Corby who passed away in 1981, son Jim Corby and his wife Rhonda, brothers Raymond Allen and Ralph Allen, sisters Mary Frey, Anna Louise, and Donna Mullis.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Wilma may be made to the Humane Shelter of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
