Wilma M. (Robbins) Auterson, 73, of Terre Haute, passed away at 7:42 AM on Monday, April 6, 2015 in Regional Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on February 28, 1942 to Mary Nicoli Robbins and Paul Robbins. Wilma is survived by daughter Rhonda Cuffle (and husband Joe), son Jim Shorter (and wife Diane), and son Ronald Auterson (and wife Chris), as well as a sister, Barbara Chatman. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Pam Matherly (and husband Dave), Joe Cuffle (and wife Shannon), April Cuffle, Jenny Cuffle, Billy Shorter (and fiancé Sarah), Alisha Shorter, Ronnie Auterson, and Brandon Auterson, as well as her great grandchildren; Kilee Matherly, Sean Matherly, Tyree Cuffle, Gabby Cuffle, Braxton Shorter, and Daunte Hunt. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews, close neighbor Tom Stefanski, and her beloved dog Zany. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Bill Robbins and Paul Robbins, and two sisters, Mary Hines and Grace Liggett. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Wesley Fish officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
