William W. "Bill" Grimes, 89, of Terre Haute passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.  He was born April 3, 1932 in Sullivan, Indiana to Felix and Gertrude (Walters) Grimes.  Bill was a farmer for many years.  He loved to go fishing, worked on C.B. radios, and enjoyed going to the casino.  Most of all he loved his family.

Bill is survived by his daughters Mary Harvey (Charles), Rebecca Denbo, and Billie Anderson (John), grandchildren Melissa Rader (Benjamin), Amanda Wenk, Jamie Lee, Krystal Suggs (Anthony), Heather Pickens, Angel Booker, Bill Cox (Brandy) and Jonathan Cox (Erin); twenty-one great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren (including his very special great great granddaughter Camila who loved spending time with him); sister Nora Pennington, and several nieces, nephews, and stepchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Ella Mussato, brothers Jack Grimes and Felix Grimes, and significant other Georgene Danner.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with service beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Pastor Terry Whitlock will be officiation.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
