William E. "Bill" Whitesell, 65, of Rosedale passed away Wednesday February 19, 2020 in Union Hospital. He was born March 23, 1954 in Terre Haute to Earl and Mary (Franklin) Whitesell. Bill is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vickie (Howerton) Whitesell, whom he married August 14, 1976; daughter, Rae Milburn (Robert); son, Joe Wampler; grandchildren, Oakley Milburn, Raeley Milburn, Cade Milburn, and Gavin Wampler; sisters, Pamela Anderson and Lori Brindle; brother, Wyatt Whitesell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Helen Dean; special uncle and aunt, Vern and Ginny Kispert and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ernest Whitesell and George Whitesell. Bill was a 26 year member of the Rosedale Volunteer fire Department and President for 5 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed being with his grandchildren and his family.
