Wayne Clifton, 74, of terre Haute passed away in IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on August 9, 2018.  He was born on October 31, 1943 to Richard Clifton and Fannie (Wadsworth) Clifton.  He Was a teacher at Ivy Tech in Vigo County.  he enjoyed wood working, engineering projects and fabrication manufacturing. Wayne was three time president at Riley's Lions Club, which he received the highest honor.  He was also president of the board at Mt Calvary Church.  Wayne had been a pilot since the age of 16.  He is preceded in death by both parents. Wayne is survived by his wife Karen (Schwartz) Clifton; son David Aaron Clifton; daughter Kim Dawn Clifton; and sister Rosa Lee thomas.  Per Wayne's wishes cremation has been chosen.
