Waymond E. Bradford, 89, of Oklahoma City, OK and formerly of Terre Haute passed on June 16, 2015. He was born on May 24, 1926 to William and Bessie (Lowery) Bradford and they have preceded him in death. Mr. Bradford had worked for Stran-Steel and finished his working career while at J. I. Case. He was a member of North West Church of Christ in Terre Haute and was an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army/Air Force having served during WW 2. He is survived by his children Terry and his wife Glinda Faye Bradford of Grand Rapids, MI, Gerald L. Hutchinson, Dorothy I. Smith and husband Brian, and Lolita M. Bradford all of Oklahoma City, OK; Mark A. Bradford of Terre Haute, and Denise A. Shelton and her husband Ron Shelton, Sr. of Camby, IN; a sister Helen Bradford Sutton of Metropolis, IL and several grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy A. (Hutchinson) Bradford whom he married on August 5, 1954. She preceded him in death on August 3, 1994. Also preceding him in death were two children, Melvina Taylor and Jeffrey Eugene Bradford. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 625 Florida Avenue with Bro. David Grubb officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
