Wanda M. Sanders of Terre Haute passed away on January 14, 2025. She was born October 17, 1940 in Beaumont, Texas to Sadie and William Martin. Wanda is survived by her daughter Shannon [Devin] Theriot, son Martin Wayne, and two grandsons, Cameron and Grant Theriot. She is also survived by her husband of 60 years, Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Melvin Street, and two brothers, Robert & Lynwood.

Wanda graduated from Lamar University in 1962 and received her Master's degree from North Texas University in 1968. She founded and owned World of Dance for the past 41 years. She loved dance and the people she was around, and they loved her. Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM with funeral services starting at 1:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Terre Haute Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
